Can you tell it rained while we were there? This is the village square, with a puddle on the concrete facing the beach. Diamond Rock is on the horizon.
We have no idea what happened. The hull is holed on the other side, and the insides have been salvaged already.
The beach along Anse Cafard is quite pleasant and swimmable. It is a long beach, and we could get to the beach and several restaurants from our villa by walking.
People fished off the end of the pier every time we were there. Here is more rain during out stay.
This was the end of the beach we walked to, coming down those steps you see in the background. There are three restaurants just to the right, out of the frame. During our stay there were volley ball games here, and there were kite surfers, too.
Another view from the village square of a kayaker along the beach.
A close up of Diamond Rock. It is huge.
We finally got a sunny day at the village square and snapped this shot of Diamond Rock.
A video of the beach from the westerly end farthest from Diamant.
