A memorial to slaves who were chained in the hold of a ship that hit the reef in Anse Cafard and sank with them still on board. The lights are the village of Diamant. Our villa overlooks Anse Cafard, and our porch is at 14.46376N, 61.04740W for those interested in Google Earth or Maps. This memorial is visible as a triangle of white shapes:
