Our trip to Saline Valley for Thanksgiving 2007. We had a new tent and a new HF radio to try out, and both worked! (Oh, sorry about all the dust on the lens. My understanding is that the ground plane is along the roof of the van, giving us some directionality to the north, since the van is facing that way.
